Why I Love The New Google Pixel

google-pixelImagine having every single Google technology at your fingertips and at every hour of the day. This is exactly what the Google Pixel does. The first phone ever designed by Google gives you the convenience of every Google application, put together in a super-fast device that makes high quality calls and has the best rated camera in the mobile market today.

Why Pixel?

Having owned every single gadget that has ever come out, I had to try the Pixel. It costs about the same as an IPhone 7, around 700 dollars, but it is worth every cent. There are two models, one with a 5 inch display, and the larger version, the “AMOLED,” which features a 5.5 inch display. The regular Pixel measures less than 6 inches long, by less than 3 inches wide. The XL model is about 6.09 inches long and still less than 3 inches wide (2.98’inches)

Why do I love it?

Google is genius at working backwards. Rather than inventing a machine first, and its uses later, Google perfected the art of creating all the utilities and applications we enjoy today and then came up with a mini machine to hold them all together.

Therefore, if you have any connection or knowledge of Google applications, this is the phone for you. It is hard to wrap your head around it at first, but this little machine is will proof to be a must-have for you. You can get access to Google docs without needing a computer, get into face-to-face conversations through Hangouts, instant GPS with Google Maps, Gmail, I mean, everything you could possibly need is right there. You would not need any other operating system because Google has made it possible to be completely dependent on Google. I call it convenience at your fingertips.

The mega goodies

Aside from convenience, let’s talk about fun. I cannot point out enough how awesome this phone’s camera is. It beats every other phone camera in the market and you can research it, too. It has three microphones with a bottom-firing speaker, a mega long lasting battery (2,770mAh for the smaller model and 3,450 mAh for the Pixel XL) and 4G LTE capability with Bluetooth 4.

Not sure what is Bluetooth 4? Check out https://www.cnet.com/news/bluetooth-4-0-what-is-it-and-does-it-matter/

It features rear and front cameras, with the rear being 12.3 megapixels and the front with 8 mega pixels. This shows you right there that the camera image in this phone is absolutely crisp and sharp. The Pixel’s Android 7.1 Nougat Operating System features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor with 4GB RAM and capability of storage ranging from 32 GB, all the way to 128 GB.

Other cool stuff

I must mention the colors, of course. The Pixel colors are cool too, but they are very distant from the current Apple color trends. The Pixel comes in “Very Black,” “Very Silver,” and “Very Blue.” Minimalism is everything.

As with all things Google, even acquiring a Pixel was super easy. You can finance one via the Google store and pay as little as $28 a month. They also have 2 year plans for this same pricing plan.

All I have to add is that this is the most convenient and simple phone out there. It is slick, weightless, attractive, and quirky, in a minimalistic kind of way. It is simplicity made perfect. I highly recommend it.
